Research
The Graz Schumpeter Centre deals with questions in the research focus "Economic and Social Dynamics". Scientific work and externally funded projects address key issues relating to the role of innovation in competitiveness and economic development, the functioning of public institutions under conditions of multi-level governance (regional to supranational), as well as structural interdependencies and their dynamics in the process of globalisation.
Within the Department of Economics at the University of Graz, the members of the GSC are involved in the research group "Innovation, Diffusion, and Transformation Processes".
